देहरादून (जि.सू.का)। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी/जिलाधिकारी डाॅ0 आर राजेश कुमार के नेतृत्व एवं दिशा-निर्देशन पर जनपद के विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के बूथों पर स्वीप मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान के तहत् दीवारें एवं परिसर मतदाता जागरूकता की स्लोगनों से संवरने लगें है। अभियान के तहत् मतदाताओं को मताधिकार के प्रति प्रेरित करते हुए शत्प्रतिशत् मतदान करने को बढावा दिया जा रहा है। ‘‘ देश के विकास में दे योगदान, हरहाल में करें अपना मतदान’, ‘‘ मास्क पहनकर चलें बूथ पर निभाएं जिम्मेदारी अपना वोट देकर, ‘‘ जाति लिंग भेद भुलाकर सब करें मतदान जाकर, ‘‘ मतदान अधिकार हमारा है जनजन का यह नारा है’ आदि स्लोगनों के माध्यम से मतदाताओं को मतदान के प्रति जागरूक किया जा रहा है।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी/ जिलाधिकारी डाॅ आर राजेश कुमार के निर्देशन में जनपद में समग्र, समावेशी, सुरक्षित मतदान कराये जाने तथा जनपद में विभिन्न वर्गों के मतदाताओ यथा प्रथम वोटर, युवा, दिव्यांग, महिला, वृद्धजन, किन्नर, माध्यमों से मतदताओं की निर्वाचन में भागीदारी कराने हेतु जागरूकता कार्यक्रम संचालित किए जा रहे है, जिनमें स्मार्ट सिटी के वीएमडी पर जागरूकता संदेश, वाॅलपेंटिंग, जागरूकता गीत आदि के माध्यम से मतदाताओं को प्रेरित किया जा रहा है, वहीं जनपद के विधानसभा क्षेत्र अन्तर्गत बनाये गए बूथों पर वाॅल राईटिंग के माध्यम लोगों को मतदान के प्रति जागरूक किया जा रहा है।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी/ जिलाधिकारी ने कहा लोकतंत्र के इस महापर्व में यह हमारा सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अधिकार है यह अवसर हमें पांच वर्ष में 1 बार मिलता है, जिसके माध्यम से हम अपना जनप्रतिनिधि चुनते है, जो हमारा प्रतिनिधित्व करते है। उन्होंने कहा हमारा प्रतिनिधि योग्य हो इसके लिए सभी को मतदान करना आवश्यक है। हमे इस अवसर को गंवाना नहीं हैं, परिस्थिति भले ही जो भी हों हमे मतदान करना है है। उन्होंने जनपदवासियों से 14 फरवरी मतदान के दिन सब कार्य छोड़कर मतदान करने के लिए अवश्य ही समय निकालने की अपील की है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिस देश का मतदाता जागरूक होता है तथा मतदान के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाता है वह देश सदैव ही प्रगति पथ पर रहता है। ‘‘देश को प्रगतिपथ पर ले जाना है मतदान करने अवश्य जाना है’’।
