ऋषिकेश (दीपक राणा) । शहर को नशा मुक्त बनाने हेतु ऋषिकेश कोतवाली द्वारा चेकिंग अभियान के दौरान अवैध स्मैक के साथ एक अभियुक्त को गिरफ्तार किया गया। बरामद स्मैक कुल 8.25 ग्राम। एनडीपीएस एक्ट के अंतर्गत मुकदमा दर्ज।
आजकल उपमहानिरीक्षक और वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक महोदय द्वारा जनपद को नशा मुक्त करने व मादक पदार्थों (अवैध शराब/स्मैक/ चरस /गांजा )के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। जिसके अनुपालन में श्रीमान पुलिस अधीक्षक देहात व श्रीमान क्षेत्राधिकारी ऋषिकेश महोदय के नेतृत्व में प्रभारी निरीक्षक कोतवाली ऋषिकेश के द्वारा आवश्यक दिशा निर्देशों के साथ थाना एवं चौकी क्षेत्र मे चैकिंग अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। जिस पर गठित टीमों द्वारा
मादक पदार्थों स्मैक/गांजा/चरस तस्करों के ठिकानों पर दबिश।
मादक पदार्थों अवैध स्मैक/गांजा/चरस बिक्री वाले स्थान पर दबिश।
मादक पदार्थों स्मैक/गांजा/चरस तस्करों के विरुद्ध वाहन चेकिंग।
अभियान जारी है।
अभियान के अनुपालन में गठित टीम दिनांक 22/12/2021 को मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी में संलिप्त व्यक्तियों के विरूद्ध कार्यवाही हेतु क्षेत्र में मामूर थी तो दौराने चेकिंग गुलाटी प्लॉट गंगानगर के पास एक अभियुक्त को रोक कर चेक किया गया तो उसके पास से कुल 8.25 ग्राम अवैध स्मैक बरामद हुई|

बृजभूषण सिंह रावत पुत्र स्वर्गीय विक्रम सिंह रावत निवासी F1 विस्थापित कॉलोनी इंदिरा नगर ऋषिकेश देहरादून।
कुल 8.25 ग्राम अवैध स्मैक बरामद की गयी।
अभियुक्त के विरुद्ध कोतवाली ऋषिकेश में एन0डी0पी0एस0 अधिनियम के अंतर्गत मुकदमा पंजीकृत किया गया है। अभियुक्त को समय से माननीय न्यायालय के समक्ष पेश किया जाएगा।
पूछताछ करने पर अभियुक्त के द्वारा बताया गया कि मैं स्वयं भी स्मैक का नशा करने का आदी हूँ मैं यह स्मैक हरिद्वार क्षेत्र से सस्ते दामों पर खरीद कर ला कर ऋषिकेश क्षेत्र के कैंपिंग एरिया में आने वाले पर्यटकों को ऊंचे दामों पर बेच देता हूं जिससे कि मेरी अच्छी खासी कमाई हो जाती है जिससे मैं अपना नशा एवं अन्य शौक पूरे करता हूं|
अभियुक्त के अन्य आपराधिक इतिहास की भी जानकारी की जा रही है|
1- उप निरीक्षक जगत सिंह, चौकी प्रभारी त्रिवेणी घाट
2- उप निरीक्षक अरुण त्यागी, प्रभारी एडीटीएफ टीम कोतवाली ऋषिकेश
3- कांस्टेबल तेज सिंह
4- कांस्टेबल योगेंद्र कुमार
5- कांस्टेबल धर्मेंद्र नेगी
पिछले 20 दिनों में ऋषिकेश पुलिस के द्वारा एनडीपीएस एक्ट के अंतर्गत पांच अभियोग पंजीकृत किए गए है| अवैध नशे के विरुद्ध अभियान लगातार आगे भी जारी रहेगा।।
