नई दिल्ली । प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी अपने छह दिवसीय विदेश यात्रा के तीसरे चरण में आज रूस पहुंच गए हैं।वह वहां रूस के राष्ट्रपति ब्लादिमीर पुतिन के साथ 18 वीं भारत-रूस सालाना शिखर बैठक करेंगे। अगले दिन वह सेंट पीटर्स बर्ग इंटरनेशनल इकोनॉमिक फोरम में भाग लेंगे। मोदी 2 व 3 जून को वे फ्रांस में रहेंगे। पेरिस में वह फ्रांस के नवनिर्वाचित राष्ट्रपति इमैन्युएल मैक्रों से मुलाकात करेंगे। पीएम मोदी के इस यात्रा को भारत के सबसे बड़े न्यूक्लियर प्लांट कुडनकुलम के लिहाज से काफी महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। सबकी निगाहें भारत के सबसे बड़े परमाणु उर्जा संयंत्र की अंतिम दो इकाइयों के लिए रूस की मदद से जुड़े करार पर हैं। सोवियत संघ के समय से रूस के साथ रहे भारत के परंपरागत संबंध मॉस्को की चीन और पाकिस्तान के साथ बढ़ती आर्थिक और राजनीतिक साझेदारी से जटिल हो गए हैं। मोदी ने यहां पहुंचने के बाद ट्वीट किया कि ऐतिहासिक शहर सेंट पीटर्सबर्ग पहुंचा। उपयोगी यात्रा की उम्मीद करता हूं जिसका उद्देश्य भारत-रूस संबंधों को मजबूती प्रदान करना है। (साभार)
