उत्तराखण्ड में सीएम पर सस्पेंस बरकरार है। मुख्यमंत्री धामी चुनाव हार गए इसलिए उनके दोबारा सीएम बन पाने को लेकर असमंजस है। हालांकि भाजपा के खाते में 47 सीटें आयीं किन्तु उत्तराखण्ड भाजपा में ऐसी छवि वाला कोई नेता सामने नहीं आया है जो योगी जैसा रूतबारखता हो। योगी जैसा रूतबा तो दूर की बात है योगी के आसपास भी उत्तराखण्ड का कोई मुख्यमंत्री फटक नहीं पाया।
गुजरे पाँच सालों में भाजपा ने तीन मुख्यमंत्री दिए। पहले मुख्यमंत्री ने चार साल कोई खास छाप नहीं छोड़ी। उनकी छवि कर्मठ मुख्यमंत्री वाली नहीं रही। दूसरे मुख्यमंत्री कोई कमाल नहीं कर पाए। भाजपा की छवि दाँव पर लग गयी। तीसरे मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने हालातों को काबू करने की बहुत कोशिश की। कुछ हद तक वे कामयाब भी रहे। लेकिन वे खुद हार गए। इन हालातों में मुख्यमंत्री का चयन पेचीदा हो गया। अबकी बार अगर धुरंधर मुख्यमंत्री सामने नहीं आता है तो भाजपा को अगले चुनाव में लेने के देने पड़ जाएंगे। भाजपा की छवि सुदूर पूर्व में लगातार संवरती जा रही है। मणिपुर में भाजपा की शानदार जीत और गोवा में भाजपा की वापसी इस बात का प्रमाण है कि देश में भाजपा की स्थिति बेहतर होती जा रही है। 2024 के आम चुनाव में भाजपा को इसका बहुत बड़ा फायदा मिलेगा। -सावित्री पुत्र वीर झुग्गीवाला (वीरेन्द्र देव), पत्रकार, देहरादून।
