Children ought to know Einstein’s compassionate heart
Until four he remained mute
one day when he was sick in bed
father brought him a magnetic needle set
the needle pointed always north
the child with big curious eyes thought and thought
while riding his bicycle one morning
what it would be like to ride
rays beaming from the Sun
such were the inquiries this child had done.
Chastised by teachers at the school
for raising questions volley after volley
everyday enigmas of life
mysteries of the universe were alive
his fast growing mind always ready to dive
vast ocean of mysteries danced usually before him
thoughts grew into explorations and conclusions to brim.
Atoms, space and time
“theory of relativity” and much more to join
decoded the mysteries and discovered the facts
re-juvinated the maths and science
boosted the “knowledge pool” for better mankind
alas! political leaders otherwise designed
bombs of destruction for the poor earth destined.
Children of the world we remind
dishearten was the great Albert Einstein
he was the admirer of Gandhian ways refined
science is for construction not for destruction
all world leaders must essentially mind.
