लखनऊ (नेशनल वार्ता ब्यूरो) । कई दिनों से लगातार कन्नौज और कानपुर में इत्र कारोबारी पीयूष जैन के घर चल रही छापेमारी खत्म हो गई है। इस बात की जानकारी बुधवार की सुबह डीजीआईआई की ओर से दी गई है। डीजीजीआई के एडिशनल डायरेक्टर जाकिर हुसैन ने बताया है कि कन्नौज में छापेमारी खत्म हो गई है। आगे उन्होंने कहा है, “हमें यहां से जो सोना मिला है उसे हमने डीआरआई को सौंपा है और बरामद 19 करोड़ कैस हमने SBI में जमा किया है। आगे की जांच जारी है।” इस बीच व्यापारी पीयूष जैन के कब्जे से 194.45 करोड़ रुपये नकद, 23 किलो सोना और 600 किलो चंदन जब्त किया गया है। डीजीजीआई ने सोमवार को जानकारी दी थी कि आरोपी ने स्वीकार किया है कि बरामद की गई नकदी बिना टैक्स चुकाए माल की बिक्री से संबंधित है। डीजीजीआई ने आगे कहा कि उसने ऐसे 200 से अधिक नकली चालान भी जब्त किए हैं। पिछले दिनों गिरफ्तारी के बाद इत्र कारोबारी पीयूष जैन को कानपुर में मजिस्ट्रेट कोर्ट में पेश किया गया। GST इंटेलिजेंस ने पूछताछ के लिए पीयूष जैन की ट्रांजिट रिमांड मांगी थी। कोर्ट ने DGGI की मांग को मानते हुए पीयूष जैन को 14 दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया। कोर्ट में पीयूष जैन को रिमांड में लेने की प्रक्रिया पर लंबी बहस चली थी। पीयूष जैन के पास से करीब 257 करोड़ की संपत्ति बरामद हुई है।
