अहमदाबाद। गुजरात विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे और अंतिम चरण के चुनाव प्रचार के आखिरी दिन प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी के रोड शो को रद्द कर दिया गया है। अहमदाबाद पुलिस कमिश्नर अनूप कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि यह फैसला लोगों को होनेवाली परेशान, सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति को देखते हुए लिया गया है। अनूप सिंह ने बताया कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी और कांग्रेस की तरफ से रोड शो करने की अनुमति मांगी गई थी लेकिन सुरक्षा स्थिति और लोगों की असुविधा को लेकर इसे करने की इजाजत नहीं दी गई है। गौरतलब है कि 93 सीटों के लिए गुजरात विधानसभा के दूसरे चरण का मतदान 14 दिसंबर को होगा। चुनाव प्रचार का कल अंतिम दिन है। ऐसे में दोनों ही दलों की तरफ से धुआंधार चुनाव प्रचार किया जा रहा है। दोनों ही पक्ष लगातार अपनी जीत के दावे कर रहे हैं। भाजपा राज्य की सत्ता में 1995 से बनी हुई है और 22 साल के लंबी सत्ता विरोधी लहर का कांग्रेस इस बार के चुनाव में फायदा उठाना चाहती है। तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ भाजपा पहली बार नरेन्द्र मोदी के प्रधानमंत्री बनने के बाद गुजरात के चुनावी मैदान में है।
