Britain must not take its past sins so lightly
The great
blissfully great day was it
when in 1699 on this day
patriotic, greatest warrior of the century
saintly-visionary Guru Gobind Singh ji
laid the foundation of unique khalsa panth
which was raised to protect the unity and integrity of Bharat
exclusively, aimed at restoring justice and peace
in the wake of Islamic onslaught bent upon
proliferating Islam in one way or the other
besides, being the pious Baisakhi day
sikh new year and mark of joyful spring harvest festival
obviously, bearing an atmosphere of socio-religious fervour.
April 13, 1919, in Amritsar’s Jallianwala Bagh
under imperialist British Raj
world witnessed the innate barbaric act of massacre
in the broad day light when
a peaceful gathering of at least ten thousand people
from adjoining villages and Amritsar proper
who were merely sharing anger generated from Hitlerian Rowlatt Act
designed to mercilessly suppress freedom of expression and movement
underwent brutal mass murder without signalling any warning, at all
thus, overshadowing even Hitler’s concentration camps
in the course of history later on which destroyed the innocent Jews.
Yes, it was colonel Reginald Dyer, the coward
who slaughtered at least a thousand on the spot
leaving another thousand critically wounded
opening fire indiscriminately on innocent people for ten minutes
displaying, his unique way of so called crowd-control
with Michael O’ Dwyer the L. Governor of the Punjab
unfortunately, colonel Dyer died his own death
whereas, Michael O’ Dwyer was of course
killed by Shaheed-i-Azam Udham Singh Kamboj
after the wait of long twenty one years
who was infact the main planner behind the massacre
how delighted was Udham Singh
who had kissed the noose during his hanging
sending good bye signal to his motherland Bharat
who had suffered too long nightmare under British Raj
so much fascist was the colonial master British Raj.
Hail Bharat Hail Jawaan Hail Kisaan
