देहरादून (संवाददाता)। कांवली रोड स्थित शराब के ठेके को हटाने की मांग जोर पकडऩे लगी है। वाडऱ्-24 के पार्षद विशाल कुमार के नेतृत्व में स्थानीय लोगों ने गढ़वाल कमिश्नर व जिलाधिकारी को ज्ञापन भेजते हुए कहा कि यहां शराब के ठेके का विरोध सालों से क्षेत्रवासी कर रहे हैं, परन्तु आज तक शराब कारोबारियों ने यह ठेका नहीं हटाया जिसके कारण आये दिन ठेके के पास शराबियों द्वारा लड़ाई, झगड़े, अश्लील हरकतें और गाली-गलौच किया जाता है। हर त्यौहारों पर हुड़दंग किया जाता है जिससे समस्त क्षेत्रवासी परेशान है इसलिए इस शराब के ठेके को कहीं अन्यत्र शिफ्ट किया जाए अन्यथा सड़कों पर उतरकर आंदोलन किया जाएगा। ज्ञापन देने वालों में डाँ. आर के सिन्हा, तारा चंद सोनकर, सूरज सिंह, पप्पू सोनकर, शमशेर सिंह, दीना नाथ, बलिस्टर सिंह, अंकित वाल्मीकि, मुरली धर शर्मा आदि शामिल रहे।
